Welcome to my blog

Hi,

My name is Thavy Lor, and I am a Vegan.  This is an introductory of myself, my educational goals, and my career plan.  Academically, I have both long term and immediate term goals.  My short term goals are to learn how to get myself up to date with this fast pace communication channel called internet, and to sharpen my communication skills. I always wanted to create a blog, but I felt so intimidated to even ask people how to start one.  When I saw this class available, I was so thrilled.  I want to learn how to create blog(s) and to create them effectively.  I am hoping to effectively blog my messages to everyone without prejudice. This is the reason I am also taking communication class to help me. This is my short term goal.

Next, what is my long term goal?  I used to struggle about my decision of what what do when I grow up.  Not until I discovered the abuses and the cruelty practices in all farms animals- ie.dairy farms, pig farms, chicken egg farms, fur farms, and those animals that are jailed and are enslaved in laboratories for unnecessary tested for sciences and studies.  And not until I got involved with animals and became an animals advocate.  I want to help being the voice for the voiceless and the defenseless.  Being very involved with animal activists groups, I have come to realize that my voice will be louder for the animals if I know and understand law.  My goal is to become a lawyer!!

My ultimate academic goal is to pursue a Juris Doctorate degree and to pass a California Bar Examination to become a California lawyer.  Accomplishing my goal will serve both my self-satisfaction, and my ability to ultimately serve in animals advocate groups to fight for animals' rights, and to fight against the cruelties upon them-especially those forgotten, farm animals.
